Ralph became an Attorney after a 26-year career in law enforcement with the Stamford, Connecticut Police Department. He spent 10 years in the Detective Division's Major Crime Squad, where he managed Local, Federal and International Criminal cases. While there he managed several notorious criminal cases, some of which led to landmark court decisions and interpretations which include; Connecticut's Kidnapping and Parental Interference Statues and the application of the Federal Death Penalty Statute in the area of Domestic Violence (Southern District of New York)

Ralph developed and implemented the Department’s “Community Policing Task Force Initiative” in one of the city's highest-crime neighborhoods which purpose was to build a strong alliance between law enforcement and the community. Success of this program was shown through a substantial reduction in crime and a solid foundation of good will. Additionally, he played a key role in a collaborative program between law enforcement and The Child Guidance Center, designed after Yale University's model for City Police Departments. This program joins law enforcement with counseling professionals to assist underprivileged families obtain much-needed mental health services, and helped parents and children with issues ranging from severe trauma to truancy.

Ralph’s main concentration of practice focuses on Criminal Defense law and Family law, including Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support and Domestic Relations issues.
